So what goes into making a Ruby III?
Well the photo below will give you a taste of some of the items, we could not fit them all in the first photo, otherwise it would have been too full to see anything.
Shown are the basics, the Rubicon Express 3.5" suspension lift with sway bar disconnects & new longer stainless steel front brake lines (an item often overlooked when fitting a suspension lift), Rubicon Express Mono Tube high pressure gas shocks.
The ARB's and ring & pinions along with the master install kits to re-gear the axles, to a lower ratio for the taller tyres. The diff guards to protect an often forgotten area from damage. The driveline parts a TeraLow to give a 4:1 low gear, the H/D short shaft conversion (SYE), H/D drive chain & sprockets, H/D high articulation prop shaft. Dana 30 axle tube seals.
Heavy duty bumpers with recovery points, a Warn 95ti winch, winch mount & a modern winch rope (over half the weight of the winch is the wirer hawser). The Optima deep cycle yellow top battery, some PIAA lights. Heavy duty engine mounts. Bush Whacker extended flares to cover the off-set wheels with bigger bigger tyres.
